OEM Fog Light Switch Pin Out
UK/US or JDM switch?
If its JDM:
Black = Earth
Orange = Goes to relay
Red with black stripe #1 = Takes power from head lights
Red with black stripe #2 = Takes power from the ignition
Some further info on UK/US switch here https://www.extremeprelude.com/fogswitch.html

OEM Fog Light Switch Pin Out
Lo
Cheers for the reply mate.
I have a UK 5 pin fog light switch that would supply the rear fog light but I want to use it to power up two front fogs.
I had these fitted yesterday and have a bloomin awful looking rocker switch fitted
Just can't work out the wiring on the oem uk fog switch at all
I found the page You suggested but I really need to know what each wire does
Cheers for Your help

OEM Fog Light Switch Pin Out
The way I figured out the JDM switch was to use a test lamp and loosely wire each up and test what each does.
The UK will/should be the same as the US switch as pictured below, if it is this is what I would do:
From top to bottom in that pic:
Pin 1 = Earth
Pin 2 = Power In 1
Pin 3 = Power In 2
Pin 4 = Power Output
Pin 5 = Earth
Pins 2 & 3 are power inputs, one for the bulb in the switch and the other powers the relay. To find out what is what, earth pins 1 & 5 and then power pin 2 (use an inline fused wire connected to the car battery), if the bulb light comes on then that is the bulb light power.
IF pin 2 is bulb power, pin 3 must be the power for the relay.
Pin 4, as the wire is a different colour (orange stripe on OEM harness), is the output that needs to be connected to the relay.
I hope that helps.

OEM Fog Light Switch Pin Out
LO Peops
I checked the wiring on the back of My fitted fog switch for the rear fog light to see if the wire colours fitted are the same as the switch I got from mills.
It is.
I can't find anything online that tells Me what each wire does
It's driving Me
I can't find a wiring diagram for a UK fog
Anyone on here have a clue
Cheers

OEM Fog Light Switch Pin Out
From left to right (my guess)
Power in
Earth
Earth
Power in
Power out
I would try grounding those two grounds and test the power in's.

OEM Fog Light Switch Pin Out
Lo
Thanks again Merlin.
I had a test of the switch in My Lude yesterday to try and find out which pair of wire's actually switch when pressing the button.
Only two wires join together and that was black and blue/White ?
Connection only remains when switch is held in then breaks when released.
My second switch doesn't do this so My guess is it's faulty.
Cheers

If its a rear fog switch your using use a tester on your original switch to see what is what.
Mind the rear also lights up the symbol which the front ones don't so the wiring is slightly different.
