
imo collinite gives a very luster like finish, full of depth. FK1000p gives a very hard shine, more glass like. The 915 on red was right, the FK1000p on white is better.
As shiny says polishing by hand is hard work. I would even go so far to say pointless unless your using rubbing compound. Get to B&Q and grab yourself a cheap rotary sander and the three Meg's sponges off ebay and your set up to get results to be proud of for just a few quid.
All respect to these guys who spend hundreds on one item for detail work but I would prefer to spend it on fuel.
Hand application of wax/sealant is maybe a little more labour intensive but much faster. you will need to buff it off once its cured. I use my DA and the megs finishing sponge to take it off with. leaves a stunning shine.
