Ah an oil change is a good skill to be able to do.
Doesn't take much time unless the old filter is on tight, heck the missus helped me with my last one to try and learn. I'm sure you could do it, just takes a bit of time.
If you've not had one done in a while though I'd expect the sump bolt will give you a challenge and you may need an oil filter remover. If you were closer I'd offer a lend of the tools/assistance.
Oil changes and plug changes are the only thing I'm not s**t scared of doing to my car
BUUUUUT with the help from here I managed to fix my brakes so it's all do-able.
Have a go really, and so long as you have someone available incase you totally manage to botch it, you'll be fine.
