Hi and welcome to LG
have you tried accordR or whatever that forum is called? the type R owners? probably have better luck finding an A7 on there than on here. We're mostly A's A2's and A5's and A8's

leah wrote:Hay everyone,
I currently own a 1999 euro Accord Type R with orignal H22A7 engine
only had this car 6months and it suddenly started to missfire, the code that comes up is a random missfire on all 4 cylinders. On top of that the exhust has decided to blow on me and i have been told i need new little end bearings) :( dew to the costly bill that is mounting up for repaire i have had to get a second car to get to and from work, so i got a accord SE with a F20B6 engine.
Currently looking for a H22A7 block and exhust system (flexi section to rear silencers)

Really need my Type R back on the road and wondered if there are any local people who could eather:
A. diganose the missfie,
or
B. point me in the direction of where to go for a engine swap for a good low price. (saving jar is running very low)

Also if anyone has got any spare spring laying about (standard one's) that will fit on to my F20B6 please could you let me know as the guy who i brought it off has put some Tenzo R spring on and its a bit to low for my local speed humps  (never thought i would say this) i need it raising.

Please help
Leah
you have random misfire on all cylinders ? first sort your exhaust and check cat, as that might be causing misreading

Small end/little bearings? Sorry that's bull$hit for a H22. Get that car to someone who knows what they're talking about! It's probably something simple.

Then you definitely want to speak to Performance Autoworks, based in Gloucestershire

They are also members on here I believe

+1

Coil is around £69 + VAT from Honda if it is that.

You need to get it to someone who knows what their on about.
