Decided that if I wanted to track the Lude then I had better learn how to heel & toe downshift. So I watched a few videos on Youtube over Xmas and I can now happily confirm that after 3 weeks of juddering, ahem, jerking and a few close calls to other road users, I can now heel & toe

I drive my car to work daily which I reckon helped me to master this a bit quicker! I also, always wear my driving shoes to work which are very slim & change into my work shoes when I get there

I did have to adapt my style slightly from the technique used in the videos I watched. I found the pedals in the Lude were a bit far apart for the most popular technique of "ball of foot/side of foot" and had to use more of a toe/heel approach. Anybody else found this?
Have to say I am quite chuffed at myself

Interested to hear if you guys are using this driving style?
