Removing 5G side repeaters.....

Post by Nik_L » Tue Jan 29, 2013 8:19 am

As above, how do you remove the side repeaters from the wings?? Is it just a case of getting something very flat behind them at 1 side, then popping it out, and sliding it along a bit then thats it oot??

Small screwdriver to lever it out from the side. Put a cloth around the screwdriver so you dOnt damage the Paint

Cheers guys.

Got them off, didn't notice the little notch on the side for popping them off so as recommended, i just used a small screwdriver and they popped off.

I remove mine every time I wax The Lude so I can wax the surface around the orifice which is usually covered up (only a few mm).

This is a good idea. I removed mine and a slight bubble of rust has started, luckily i removed them to respray the panel.
A bit of wax will protect that gap.
