I used to have an m2v5, it lasted 10,000 miles before going pop with the extra power my lude is putting down. It has the same gears as the M2P4 & U2Q7 but has a longer final drive. If you're changing the final drive it's definately cheaper than the other two boxes thoduckface wrote:And we're in agreement re: the m2v5, it's a nice box and mine's in great condition but to put it simply doesn't feel very "sporty", at all! Also I don't think I've mentioned the LSD yet, which was probably the main reason I originally considered
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

No it doesn't. M2V5 has longer 2 and 3 gears. And I think these two are the shortest in all Prelude/Accord boxes. Available only in 3 of them - U2Q7, T2W4 and M2P4. Actually T2W4 has longer 5th gear, a little bit. But you better check everything I said here. Here are the ratios:A1ex wrote: I used to have an m2v5, it lasted 10,000 miles before going pop with the extra power my lude is putting down.
