I had uni royal rainsport 2s on the car before, but tbh was unimpressed and BOTH punctured very easily (maybe just my luck ??) :( I used toyo t1rs for the civic they stuck to the road like mad :D but they did wear down quite quickly :( .....running falken 452's just now and seem to be ok most of the time...a little dodgey when it gets rather wet but you got to love a wee slide now and again

its just with upping the power and the smaller wheels just seeing what else is rated :D

You probably didn't have the XL stiffened side wall version. RainSport 3's are out now, try them.

I've had experience of both RainSport2's and T1-R's and rate them both. Although found RS2's obviously much better in the wet and still great in the dry, so would consider them better as an alrounder.

Falkens I've only heard horror stories about. There's a reason they're favourites among drifters ;-)

I splashed out on continental SC5's this year, they're awesome! £120 a corner fitted at 215/45/17. Can out top in a few of the tyre reviews that are kicking about for new tyres
PAW rebuilt 98 prelude 228bhp & 171lb/ft R.I.P.
PAW rebuilt 01 ATR 238bhp & 164lb/ft sold
