Good and Bad buying

Post by Duo » Thu Apr 12, 2012 3:31 pm

Hi guys so though I'd share with you that Conceptua Tuning are one of the best if not the best companies I've ever dealth with, always fast and friendly and they know which onions are which. Can't recommend them enough so if they have something you want to buy just get it, you won't be dissapointed.

Sadly on the other hand I'm not very impressed or happy with Tegiwa at the moment, ordered a blue battery tie bar and mounting kit, nothing showed up (bear in mind the website says always in stock for 48 hour delivery) so emailed, told it was out of stock and would be shipped the next week, friday swing around and nothing so called, told it's out of stock and should be sent next week, thursday of week 3 (Friday being a bank hol) sent another email, still no part, no response to this email. Finally called this week (the 4th week) yesterday, said it'd be a 10 day wait as they do batches or they have the other colours in stock, opted for a purple one and told it would be sent out today (Thursday) so we shall see if it turns up tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath. Honestly not impressed with the service, one simple email after I ordered saying it was out of stock and offering alternatives or clearly stating it'd be a 6 week wait would have been fine but no got nothing from them until I contacted them.

Seriously not impressed and can't knowingly recommend them. Not to say they don't have a lot of happy customers and are recommended by others, sadly I am not happy and can't recommend them.

There we go, couple of reviews and the start of what I'll be suggesting, namely a company review section where good companies are promoted and given well deserved business and the bad ones are named so other members can be aware of them.

Nice to hear about Conceptua Tuning :D

And with regards to Tegiwa, I've never bought anything directly from them as they strike me from the various conversations I've had with them as people who only care about their profits. They're not in it for customer satisfaction at all!

I found the review they received in Total Honda (I think it was) to be completely contradictive to how they actually are.

I ordered a set of wheel nuts from Tegiwa.

Got a response from them that it would be 3-4 weeks before they arrived

They had other colours available if i wanted to swap but just not black, red, purple, blue or gold. WTF

Sounds like it's not just me then, seriously though profits are good but you need customers.

Conceptua have bent over backwards to help out and been really friendly and will do combined prices if you want a load of stuff and call them, genuine people who's customers are king and I'll always buy from them if I need parts they have, every time.
