Bloody animal. What I find puzzling is that the judge didn't add to his sentence by revoking his license forever. I add to Paul's comment that I also hope that while detained, taking a shower will be a brutally painful and hopefully traumatising experience for the low life.

Has anyone else seen the video and thought it not solely the landrovers guy fault? Yes he was being a knob and yes he was committed to taking the turning no matter what but the Latvian drive appears to maintain his speed around a corner with a junction on the side, he isn't that close to missing the first car but doesn't seem to back off, between the car coming into view there's about 2 seconds before the crash.
Clearly the landrovers driver doesn't have enough of a view to make the judgment that it's safe but then would anyone, I wouldn't mind betting this is a accident black spot and partially blaime the road design but also the Latvian driver in some way for not slowing down for a obvious hazard. Or is that just me?
Ps I don't condone the landrover driver or any time of road rage and wish all the best to the kids but it was a accident.

236bhp and 170ft/lb stock

I don't think you can see enough of the video beforehand to make any sort of opinion of the fathers driving. From the short amount you see before impact, the father appears to be travelling at a similar speed to the red car in front, so you could make an assumption that whatever the speed was, it is considered "normal" (I don't know what the limit is, but I would guess from the road layout that it's 40-60).
The lorry would've blocked the fathers view from further back, and once that's passed you can see the white car indicating to turn right, and the Land Rover undertaking. I don't think anybody would reasonably expect the Land Rover to turn like that.
Also bear in mind that dash cams tend to have a very wide field of view, which tends to make things look further away than they really are.
