Sounds like you need better tyres, or new ones like you say. In the wet decent rubber wont spin up anything but first on a stock Prelude

Again better tyres. I can slam on the brakes from 100mph and not brake traction. A totally different story when I had buget tyres on my track car when I first got it.ziyaan wrote:hats how i feel with no abs in the wet

I have Dunlop Sportmax all round, they're meant to be fairly decent but mine are getting near the wear indicators. On the subject, can anyone recommend decent tyres that are also fairly easy on the wallet? Need to be available in 215 width and R17, and as low profile as possible - the current ones are 40's.

Similar thing happened to me this weekend, except I was expecting it so my girlfriend had the brown trousers moment hahaha ..picture the scene - pouring with rain, traffic light launch, some sort of Barryboys Laguna next to me, my favourite 2nd gear tight right hand dual carriageway slip-road, VTEC kicks in, wheels light up, LSD bites and snatches us round the corner, Laguna disappears in the spray, I giggle and all I hear from the passenger seat is, "you're not fuc***g funny".

The 45 profiles are a roughly tenner cheaper.
