There is a huge potential market both stateside and in the Asian countries for topical creams that reduce melanocytes, and the research is in progress IIRC.

As you say, a shame and a drokking minefield. Some lecturers really squirm when they have to talk about prevalence of sickle cell anaemia in different ethnic groups, sub-Saharan is one I hear more and more :lol: crazy.
