I'm paying about £400 for my daily (Which is pretty much standard). I'm 31 with 7 years NCB (I swap cars far too often  ), and for the grand sum of just £15 I've had my payout-in-the-event-of-a-write-off agreed and fixed at £2500 ;-)

yeah i can see that the prelude is in a dearer insurance bracket but even im starting to agree with you guys that the lude is a great car and if its a little bit more than my years insurance on the v6 but im sure it will be worth it.i did quote it on a 2000 plate (would that be a 200bhp ) would it be cheaper if its a earlier reg and i know according to parkers the Motegi/Type S is the most expensive
Looking for a Gen5 Lude very soon....

34y.o with wife on the policy
8 years no claims
H22A8 standard
2nd Car discount through Direct Line £292 :D

That said Direct Line almost halfed my other cars price when I insured with them - they also gave me a discount as I had Home Insurance with them! Even the Home Insurance undercut EVERYONE i tried. Result!

only problem i had with directline was modifications as they seem to hit you with mods that are expensive when there not , just for a 5" jap backbox that was welded to the existing pipe they wanted 100 quid extra so i soon got rid of them.

that was with my current car tho
