get a dozen live chickens and keep in your garden, they love them trust me i know because they killed all of ours about 6 months ago
but i do have a soft spot for a fox its just annoying when they kill for fun and not for food. bit like fox hunting is for fun and not for food and i don't agree with that either. anyway chickens replaced and not left out for prey now, lesson learnt.

if it aint broke don't fix it https://www.facebook.com/pages/tram-roa ... 8502699270

Very cool
I love foxes. There's a über zen Japanese lady I know that has a vixen in her garden that has been there for a few years. In springtime I will go and see the cubs because she gets up for her morning cigarette and they just chill on the patio.

Probably best not to do the cat food thing. Foxes are scavengers, but omnivores. Cat food is aimed at a carnivorous diet. If you're gonna leave anything out do as Nitin said, but it would be better to just sling out something raw, e.g. the unappealing bits you cut off supermarket chicken breast. They're canids, so dog food > cat food.nitin_s1 wrote:You know they go through our bins anyways. So left over chicken breast or soft meat, mercutio wrote:leave cat food out for themI left out for them.
Short answer, not likely at all. Canid mange is caused by Sarcoptes scabiei, which is the same might that causes the human variation, so you're more likely to get mange than your cats. Notoedres cati is the cat one.mart609 wrote:Can cats catch mange off foxes?
We keep getting them in our garden, when our dog comes in some nights after being out she stinks of them :S
