there are some ass wipes out there who trade in standard plates to turn profit
my old lude was normal plate N12 DMJ but as is looked like private plate got contacted by DVLA that someone was claiming the V5, had to prove i had the car and all paperwork by post and then they investigated
they got 3 blokes that were claiming loads of plates then transfering them to another car and selling them
even turned out that up north there was another lude running around with my plate on and they got caught as it was milano red and mine was pacific blue
now it is scrapped so safe.

Plus I could own a UKDM Prelude the same colour as his. Get some show plate made up with the same reg as his (being they're show plates I don't need the V5) or even safer, make them up myself, then simply drive to a petrol station, fill up completely and just drive off without paying. Wouldn't matter that I got caught on camera... Providing my face wasn't seen.RattyMcClelland wrote:I just can't see posting a registration having negative effects when its exposed to the world when I drive and or parked up.
So Josefsan, do you know if he paid £3000 for it?
