Not having much luck are you Nitin :(

As said, at least the guy can't deny it as there would have been a camera watching.

Gutted mate, yet another mindless Ludist attack.

Can they refuse a claim as it happened on private property? Or is it just carparks they don't like?

I can guarantee they will say new bonnet the the front 4 panels respraying at a cost of around £1300.
I was just speaking to my neighbour about this and he said the same thing.. Even though the damage looks small he said that's the estimate cost..

I think AutoVilla will be repairing my car. I've seen their work and it looks good plus they are only 10 mins away from me so I can go see them in the work shop if I need.

One question, If they say I need a new bonnet or some other small parts. Can I help them look for parts so that the process is done quicker.. :? (hope that makes sense)

LOL, I was just thinking about it the other day that I need a new daily as I don't want to pile up miles and miles on this Type-S. Also don't want no one crashing in to as the public road is full of stupid people who don't pay attention  and today it happened. :?

Sorry to hear this nitin. It seems you don't have much luck with preludes :(

Even with a daily a car will always be at risk of getting hit. My prelude has been bumped into twice in the flat's car park. Its so annoying as it doesn't get used much and the car I use daily doesn't get a single scratch on it. The only way a car will be safe is in a garage

Hope you get it sorted soon and with less hassle than last time, if the guy is accepting liability the prelude will be as good as new. Hopefully try take it to a decent body shop

Some one reversed into the side of my type R caving in the back of the passenger quater. They paid out £1500 after the bloke said it was my fault even though I was parked and he reversed into me, they collected my car and repaired it, gave me a courtesy car and my insurance wasnt affected at all.

Bad luck mate insurance is the best way forward unless you get a quote and tell him that will be the cost and see if he pays in cash. If he doesn't pay up then go to insurance?

Nitin, if the other driver even starts to hint about a fuss, go straight back to the petrol station and request CCTV footage.

I had a fvcking cvnt drive into my car during November 2011. He immediately admitted fault but changed his mind when I presented him with a couples of quotes and decided to blame me instead. A lengthy process with insurance companies then started. I eventually won when he was issued with court proceedings. I suppose my main strength was an independent witness, which I hope you've got too?

I was stationery, he admitted his fault and there will be CCTV footage there on the petrol station so I'm ok (I think/hope).

Car is getting picked up on Thursday so they will see the damage etc and let me know.
