Direct click just opens the update your account image larger and if I open in a new tab it takes me to photobucket site with the users name but the image still shows as the 'please update your account' picture

*edit to add, I'm even getting the same thing when trying to open MY OWN images via the forum rather than directly on my photo bucket account.

I've just tried something in Photobucket.

If you open a picture from one of your albums click on the IMG box, CTRL C will then put it into your post in this forum!

To test the point again, trying with an old photo gets me this:-

We may have lost the photos in our previous posts, but there is a way to stay with PeeBucket, should we wish to.
At least for now.

Yeah, can't see them Sailor. I thought that's why mine hadn't disappeared at first... Because I'd always copied and pasted the IMG code, but alas now mine don't work either

It doesn't even work if you click on the image which then directs you to their own website!

This was happening to me too, but on photofuckit, if you hit F5 (refresh) it then seems to load the pic

What a crock of jobby. Mine has now gone. Luckily I screenshot the photos in my build thread. But that didn't help my build thread though.

Someone care to test this?

If you place the following ~original between .jpg[/IMG] your photos will appear as they once did. This is a pain, and the only fix I can find for existing photos hosted on PB. The downside is the current error when editing original posts to make the photos reappear - so this will work only on new posts until the bug is fixed with editing posts.

TLDR: your new links should all end with

.jpg~original[/IMG] and not .jpg[/IMG]
