Don't use Parcel Monkey! (City Link particularly)

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

I just used Parcel2Go yesterday (to send my spoiler). The collection window they gave me was stupid, it was between 7am-7Pm :? :x so that meant I had to be home and never go to the toilet just incase they turned up on the door to collect.

When you say Parcel2go, which actual courier company did you choose? Most are like that, though some do specify AM or PM.

Parcel Monkey has rubbish customer service. One of their directors, Navin Ramiah, is also a director at Watertight Legal, based in the same building in Southampton. The phone number for Watertight Legal (and the only phone number that you can use to contact a director of Parcel Monkey) is: 023 800 11 767. Ask to speak to Navin Ramiah.

Glad it's revived from last year as its given me the chance to read through some good advice! :D Keep meaning to stop using Royal Mail so much as some of their prices are extortionate, although they always deliver! - pun intended

My experiences from a few year's back mirror Duo's, where my company were let down by CityLink one too many times. Guys waiting at customer sites with the client for a "next-day" delivery that doesn't turn up. Some very embarrassing and frustrating moments before we moved to using DHL and some others who were all far more competent.

Thanks for the info and experiences anyway, very useful.

I have used Parcel Monkey because they are cheap, very cheap. True the service is rubbish but if I am patient I save a load of cash. Paisley Freight is the worst of the Parcel Monkey companies, much worse than City Link IMO.

Ah don't say that, I've had a couple of recommendations for Paisley Freight now!

Nowadays I tend to use Parcel-2-Go and make sure I don't just pick the cheapest one, use a trusted courier company.
