Surely that would be better suited and probably quicker.

Not sure if it got snapped up though seeing how much of a bargain it seemingly was.
How did i know you would reply with a face-palm image with no explanation to back it up.

Typical newkid reply. Unimaginative and pointless.
Whats to explain? The fact you clearly dont know whats a good deal and whats not? Alex's engine is a cracking deal for what your getting, you just cant seem to grab that concept. Mind you you did remove the a8/type-s intake for a none branded in the bay ill be heatsoaked to bits induction so clearly shows what you know about these cars ;)
Good deals don't hang round for long. If something is a bargain, its not still for sale a month later.

I did remove the type s intake and you know what, i didn't notice a blind bit difference in performance. Not sure what the under bonnet temps would have been, but they were massively reduced with the heat wrap Craig had fitted to the manifold. Its not often you could grab an exhaust manifold without burning your hands when the engine is up to temp. Partly the reason i done the swap in the 1st place.

That's right, the H22 has never been transplanted into other Honda's.

Oh hang on a minute, that's not right. :?

Send me your mates details. May be interested in the tods manifold or intake if its a mugen jobbie and thr spoon ecu.
Otherwise dont bother with a b18, no torque low down.
Why do you think Richie of PAW fitted a H22 into his race dc2?

Next week the engine will be in the car of what I'm sure will be a very happy new owner, I'm sure he'll have a view on the 'value' of it once he's driven his car with it in

Probably, b series s80 place to be tho, 4.7 final drive, short ratios an lsd ;)
Totally disagree!!
H2B puts engine at crap angle and too far forward.
Ok if you want a drag car but for circuit work the H22 engine and box is a far better option
Oh and nobody said my box was standard ratios did they lol
