Bike carrying options
Bike carrying options
Hi guys,
I've been looking into getting a bike rack for the Prelude since the nicer weather's fast approaching and I was wondering does anyone use their Lude to carry bikes?
I was looking at the rear bike rack things but wasn't sure if they'd fit with a spoiler.
Also I noticed the Thule setup some people have has an extended part so the rear bar is near the back of the roof, however the Honda one only has 2 bars that connect to the car where the doors open.
Would it be possible to have a Thule setup without the 'extender' part?

Those pictures have the rails that extend the rack towards the back of the roof.
But it looks like the Honda ones don't.
The racks that hang off the back are nice and cheap but not sure if they'd fit. I've seen one tiny thumbnail of a 5th with a rear mounted bike rack but the picture has been removed when you click on it

Aha! Maybe you have found another compelling reason to remain spoilerless?
