3rd gen lude question

i have a mate who's hopefully looking at buying a 3rd gen this weekend, but apart from rear arch rust, is there anything he need to look out for? im not very up on the 3rd gens.

Rust everywhere, not just the arches. Check around all windows. It's an old car, so check bushes. Factor in a lot if they all need replacing. £400 with TDC Automotive discount will get you a full SuperPro poly bush kit (Cheaper than OEM) to give you an idea.

Then just usual engine checks.

Obviously factor in labour accordingly if bushes need replacing as well.
