ebay

Post by Andreika609 » Thu Jan 21, 2016 5:23 pm

Hey just need an advice from you guys.

So the guy bough coilovers from me on ebay and now send a return request. He says they dont fit with his wheels. I bet the offset is wrong on them so the coilovers are touching wheels. Its clearly stated no returns and coilovers are in perfect working order. And one of the options ebay giving me is decline a return. Hm ... my money is hold by paypal now. So if i decline a return money will be released from hold?

If any one had this situation give me an advice how to sort it as its first time for me :) other times if i had a return request iv been forced to take it back as there was no dicline a return request option :)

Thanks in advance ;)

If eBay are giving you an option to decline the return then you're obviously not obliged to accept. Normally you have to check a box that says you'll accept returns.

It's obviously not your fault he's having problems either (provided you listed them for the correct vehicle), and has he stated the problems using eBay messaging?

Also how long ago did he buy them? He's must have tried to fit them.

On the box says no return. They have been delivered yesterday afternoon and he asked to return today. There was enough time to try them on car. Anyway iv never had that option to decline a return yearlyer so confused now :) iv send a message to him saying that its his problem with the wheels ,but not with coilovers iv sold to him and stated that i will not take em back, waiting him to reply now.

Take it up with eBay, they have a support team that I had to use once, I'll have a look later to find the number.

I know what your worry is, if you decline the return will it send him the money back... tho usually has to be some dispute opened first.
