Calling all Performance Honda owners! What do YOU look for i

Word up guys & gals !

Been a while since I've been on here (since no longer actually owning a Lude, but my H22A Civic still reminds me about where home really is ;-) )

I'm hoping I can get some assistance off you guys, with a quick poll...

I'm about to launch a Honda Tuning garage, part of the launch requires some market research, and that's where I need your help.

If you can spare 2 minutes it would be great, need as many votes as possible.

Just choose the 5 TOP factors that help you decide which garage to use. We all have many reasons why we might use 1 particular place, but I need to know what helps YOU decide.

Thanks a lot guys, every vote counts!!!

With my Prelude price is out of the equation. I don't care. Spent close to 10k on it last year and this year.

I want

- Knowledge of the car and engine and what works and what didn't. Experience is necessary.
- Use of oem parts.
- Attention to detail and photos of work.
- Customer service.

All of the above is why I use performance autoworks. It's way out of my way so it's convenient and not the cheapest garage around but those two points never entered my head.

Same reason goes with my vw van.

My brother in law and his garage have extensive knowledge of vw so knew what they were up against.
They use oem parts on request.
The big difference for me with the business van is convenience. They are local and I'm able to get the van serviced wtc without losing to too much business hours.

IMO you're missing a major point on that list - TRUST.

Hence, why I go to Performance Autoworks too, even though it's a two hour drive away.
I trust them implicitly, along with all the positives mentioned above.
I've owned my car a long time and found a few garages over the early years that I thought I liked/could trust. Sooner or later EVERY one of them let me down somehow. Not crooks, just not the service I wanted and mistakes etc that should not have happened.
I've been going to PAW for probably ten years, they have never in all that time given me anything other than great service and results. 8-)

Trust is gained though, that all comes from the quality of service provided ;-)

But that's a major factor in deciding why I take it where I do?? :!:

Or are you talking about the FIRST visit to a garage? In that case, a little clarification might help. :)

I agree fully with Bennyboy.

I'm fortunate to be very local to PAW. Honda knowledge/knowhow. I'm safe in a the knowledge any jobs will be done to an A1 standard. I also receive nothing but the best advice. The experience & ability to unlock what makes our Hondas tick is irreplaceable

I see what you're asking, but unfortunately Ratty's and Bennyboy's point are my thoughts as well, and unfortunately for any sort of "performance" related work I need to know the business has a well established reputation for experience and reliability with whichever performance enhancements which would have been gained over years.

I too travel 2 hours plus to Performance Autoworks for performance upgrades and the more indepth serviceable parts.
