Subaru BRZ?

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

Yay or nay? Decent Coupés are few and far between now, what about the new Subaru BRZ?

Any new coupe that isn't a Hyundai Coupe is a good thing in my book!

Definite yey.

Nice to see a new car being advertised around its handling rather than safety or Eco green bollocks.

Top engine is a 345hp 3.8L V6 in the Hyundai Coupe? WTF have they been smoking?

IMO its nice to see some Coupes coming out again. I wasnt too impressed with the 350Z, although the person driving it could have been crap :?

I've driven the GT86 and it's fantastically good. One of the few modern cars I actually like.

It's sort of a cross between an S2000 & a Prelude really. Probably a 4G since it's slightly more cramped than a 5G. Very similar steering/driving to the S, similar PTW as the 'Lude & the same-sized tyres too. It thus is very forgiving to drive - far more so than the S2000, which does not tolerate fools on wet roads.

Oh, and you can very nearly see out of it OK, unlike most modern rubbish.

Just seen the Toyota driving down a road near me. Looks very nice. Might pop for a test drive at some point as the garage is a 5 minute walk from my house.
