I saw that advert and where they indicate that driver aids are negative and suggest that they reduce pleasure. Are Toyota trying to say that the GT86 has no driver aids?

Nope nothing apart from the Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Anti-lock brakes, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, and Brake Assist
