Ok people I need your truthful votes now. What car would you rather own and drive? A MKll/MKlll golf vr6, g60 160-174 bhp or a Honda prelude 2.2 185bhp 350lbs heavier. You decide which is a better all rounder : looks, power, weight, reliability. Dub or Honda place your votes"

I wanted some back-up as it was me against his dubber friends..

Hah! I'm sure they're all convinced a nose heavy Golf is much better.

A more appropriate comparison would involve: VR6 Corrado vs H22a Prelude - and in that battle there would be sod all in it, bar the VW interior being like a black hole

Prelude weight distribution = front/rear 58%/42% - Golf = front/rear 65%/35% ...because nose-heavy beats even balance anyday ;) hahaha

Yes, and let us not forget that a family hatch with a big engine is always better than a purpose designed coupe.

I believe there is actually a magazine out there somewhere that does a head to head with those two.

Yep. Plus the VR6 Engine is an absolute peach in a car of that size. Never liked how the seatbelts retracted back and forth once inside so you can not put them on.
