Not sure how many of you guys are into animals but thought I'd introduce my new little puppy:

She's adorable! :) Quite a few animal fans on here. Merlin will probably go all gooey at that pic

How about "Soup"?

Ah thank you. No I don't think she's a 'soup'. It was really just for scaling purposes ;)

As Nath said, she's adorable! Best not let my girlfriend see that photo or we'll probably end up with another puppy  our lab is 14 months old now, but when he was tiny I just used to melt at all the cute stuff he did

As for a name... Apparently two syllable names are best for dogs as it helps them recognise them. Also, make sure it's a name you don't mind shouting across a park - I get some odd looks when I'm shouting 'Vito' at the top of my voice

At any rate I'm sure you're going to have loads of fun with her, they're absolutely great when they're still learning everything :)

Yeah at the minute Lily is the favourite but we are still deciding. So true about shouting it in public, every potential name has had a sample yell across the lounge to check how it sounds ;)

At my house we are having a dilemma as what pet to get. My dad and me want a German Shepard but my mum and sister wants a cat.

I think that's the most random selection of names I've ever seen!

How about Soupy then? ;-)

I thought the same Rob... Including Heinz, but then thought that sounded too masculine, so went with Soup ;-)
