Calling out to all 5th gen owners local to me (@gordonlear, @lude-dude, @honda-hardy @anyoneelseclosetoYeovil), do you have a spare known good TD-89U distributor to get me out of a bit of a predicament (even if it's just a loan)?

The one I've ordered should have turned up yesterday, but didn't. So I messaged them (again) today to see when I should expect it and they politely inform me they're out of stock and it'll be 4-5 weeks if they can't find an alternative

My car's booked in with Rich on Tuesday, and what with the bank holiday, my only option to fit a replacement in time now is for me to collect one from somebody

I think I bought a new one kept the old one and that failed changed the bit inside

but cant be sure, I also have a dizzy for some unknown civic

I did consider it as I have a whole bunch of naff dizzies Ste gave me (All Obd1's though). I have no idea which bits are defective though and at the minute no clue as to how to test each component.

I've emailed Rich, and he does say he has a spare I could borrow if all else fails, so at least there is that

I did think that might have been the case

Wasn't sure whether you had another spare, you wouldn't be requiring now you're wanting to sell up.

Actually just bought another brand new one and they're guaranteeing it to be delivered Wednesday, so getting it sent direct to Rich
