I got new tyres on my Weds today. I had the same problem. The previous fitter use standard rubber valves that were stretched and very dangerous. I didn't know this until this tyre fitter Told me.

Anyway a local motor factors had the ones in stock. Steel 8mm valve stems. Fitted fine.
