I'm having a bit of trouble getting a dog sitter, so I'll probably be in the Hilux now with both my dogs in tow :?

I was going to bring the Teg, but that means there'll be only two Preludes at the current rate, so I'll have to change my mind ...

I'd bring them in the prelude, but with the sex blocker in the back they aren't comfy going long distances. Plus they definitely wouldn't fit along with the lip I'm picking up ;)

I really don't want to do this what with the numbers already being so low, but I'm going to have to pull out of this :(

My rear alignment is really quite bad at the moment, so I really don't fancy driving all that way. I was hoping to get it sorted this week in preparation, but other car woes have prevented that

Sorry Sam

Also with that in mind Sam, your brake discs, do you want me to post them out or are you able to detour to mine on the way back?

no worries nathan, ill have the discs posted if i cant get to you after. cheers.

ok so the numbers are dwindling. we need to decide if this is still going to happen, honestly if its to much for just a few of us to meet then lets pull it. there are other events. :D

1, honda-hardy (Sam Type-S 5th Gen)
2, @jjmartin349571 (Josh in whatever is running in a month)
3, @Sailor (in a Honda of some sort) + possibly a non-Honda or two
4, @prelude91

JJ, ill still pop down as i still have the lip kit for Gary's @mercutio 4th gen that you are storing. would it be better if i drove to you instead?

That'll make a maximum of 3 ludes, as I'll be in my 75 Tourer.

RE Prelude attendance, I was planning on bringing the truck as it'd make my life easier with the dogs and bits I'm bringing back. Had this come up on the offside front tyre the other day though:

Will have to go swap all the wheels over from my Isuzu on to the Hilux. Worst case scenario I'll bring the V6 van. The van is probably the better choice anyway as I am meant to be meeting someone at 3:30 to take them out for a drink, and the Hilux can barely get over 70... Can stay later if I come in something with a higher top speed

If I manage to persuade someone to mind the dogs within in the next day or so I should be able to nab the Prelude back off Laura. In which case nobody with a 5th gen is to laugh at the two gaping holes in the side of it

Sam - I wouldn't want you to have to trek all the way over to mine mate, not that you're not welcome to but just because I'm miles out of your way and I'd feel guilty!! If I do bring the lude do you think the lip kit would fit through the ski hatch? :?

jj, yeah the lip kit is very flexible. it will fit. i had a 4th gen rear bumper and a set of alloys in my old 4th gen.

i like a rover 75, i would buy one as a cruiser if they werent so unreliable. an ex had a diesel bmw engined one. both ended up being rough old dogs.

it would be no problem, a nice jaunt to yours and a coastal walk with the mrs after would make it a nice day out for us anyway.
