Was chatting with eDaniel on Christmas day (via that FB messaging / chat thingy). He suggested it might be at an different track in 2014. Where ever it is, I'm going.

you larrys are having a bubble if you think anyone from europe is going to come here for a 'euro' meet. They already think we are a thickheaded bunch of lazy, one language, ditch dwellers, which I cant call foul on, so asking people who have travelled maybe 3000km from countries where they earn 10% of what we do yet fuel is only 20% cheaper than here to then get on a boat is laughable

The world is not going to come to you and the world will not be amazed and thankfull if you go to it. You will have a bloody good time though. Stop being so damn english and integrate.

I speak as I see mate. I speak as I see.

The euro meet would be great with a stronger UK contingent but asking englishmen to drive maybe 4-500 miles to the biggest and bestest race track in the world for a three day party is an uphill battle.

i know what you mean james but things like hiring space on a transporter in the uk is ridiculous compared to poland and 20% doesnt sound a lot when you say it fast but in actuality 20% your tank is a lot.
Also getting a car towed from germany to poland or france to poland is a pretty easy affair getting one from germany to the UK should anything happen is an epic proposal

You do realise the reason he's always late to the party is because he's waiting for his team of writers to give him some material ;)

@merc: why would you worry about all that mate? just drive the car. :D From my front door to the ring and back was 1007 miles. I did it in two full tanks. its the best race track in the world for tourists and a great reason to drink good beer!
20% of the lude tank is about 20£? (vpower) so its £40-50 or so for two tanks worth or 40%? consider that is the weekly wage of some of the guys I was talking to at the meet. If they can live in eastern european economic melt down yet still find the cash for a 1500mile round trip I think it will be a bit sad if there are only one or two UK attendees again.
As long as I have the car I will be there again as it was a really good atmos.

My loss of earnings for business would be too much. I really do want to go. Maybe if more people get convinced i may go.
But James. What you said is EXACTLY how i feel.
