Nothing wrong with 75's , Sam, very reliable in the diesel engine version, nearly 60 mpg on a run, too. 45 urban's not bad either.

My ex's was rubbish. Fuel pump in tank went. Under bonnet fuel pump went. Diesel pre heater went. Digital display went. Thermostat stuck open and had to fit a Renault 5 inline one. Electric seat stuck forward. Electrical system for headlights burnt out the relay on the fuse box. Number plate light printed circuit broke. And all of this was in the first year. Rough.

This is looking decidedly iffy, isn't it? And I don't just mean the forecasted 80% chance of precipitation.
I'll get a couple of hours free this afternoon to look at the Prelude's PS leak (for the fourth time!), but if it's not enough time I'll have to turn up in something else. That'll leave only one Lude, two at the most!

On the one hand, it's always nice to meet ...

Much as I hate agreeing with people - on principle - I think I should this time.
The PS bodge I was attempting this afternoon failed because the only flexi tubing I have that fits won't bend where I need it to without kinking. The car is driveable, but weeps fluid at a silly rate. It's just not worth risking the pump (or the rack).

Can we reschedule? I'm away for much of June and July, but August and most of September are free.
And can we be sure that everyone who was thinking of going knows that it's been called off?
