I must be extremely lucky with my 4th gen - every nut & bolt has always come
off no probs :)
Only hassle was a rusted split-pin.

Been a while from I've been on here, from one bit of bad news to another meant good aul smokey has been left sitting for the past rake of months, unloved.

Thankfully though, its getting back on track.
Picking up a 2ws subframe from a local guy along with a new bonnet and wing.

Have these sitting waiting to get painted too :D
Touched lucky with the fitment so now I dont need to do a hub swap!

Its a gen 4, only the gen 5 2.2 has the 5x114.3 iircc

Cant wait to get cracking at it again.

Sooooo.... slight update 8-)

Got me a 2ws subframe and got it sorted today...
Took the drill to it, then wire brush, then some rubbin...

Then some hammerite has it now looking like this ...

Also picked me up a Carbon Fibre bonnet

Also picked up a front guard for it.

Now im skint but hopefully, mid April it will be back on the road! all cleaned up and fully painted underside, inside and up top!
