I don't want to be cutting a circular hole in the bumper ideally
The bmc ducting is a nice 80mm diameter, but I can also squish it into an elipse, which I kind of have done (more so now than in the picture). But to finish it off I need to mould something to suit the original oem indicator shape (so it can be fixed in place) that then extrudes into the 80mm diameter circle/elipse
.... And then painted black of course

(LB) New Mugen Manifold & Downpipe. Boot Swap
As DJBlobby very well knows
I've been on the hunt for a "proper" manifold/downpipe for a while. Well fortunately for me I unawarely pipped him to the post (i think that's the expression) on offering a chap on ebay a certain amount for the front end of this...

The guy didn't know what brand it was, tho spectualation was that it could have been Fujitsubo. So I decided to take a gamble.
Anyway it arrived on friday and I'm chuffed with the quality... Tho sadly it's not Fujitsubo
...

Nope. It's.............

So I'm chuffed with that to
Anyway's I'm gonna give it a bit of a clean up, but I'm not to bothered as I'm gonna be heat-wrapping the lot anyway. Do need to get a header/manifold gasket to tho. Does anyone know if the Hondata ones are actually any good, or whether they do help bhp? I find it hard to believe, but still wonder
I got around to finally changing my engine and gearbox oil between showers as well today. I feel good about that
Also, one other thing I got around to doing earlier in the week was experimenting with a colour scheme.
Now I like it from this angle...

... But I ain't so keen from this angle...

or this one...

I got the boot along with the wing-mirrors from alexbanos on here, with the intention on matching it up with the bonnet he also had from the lude he's currently breaking. But annoyingly the bonnet never got to mine... Instead it arrived back to his, damaged after Parcel-Force tried delivering it somewhere in Cornwall! The boot that I've fitted is only temporary as well now as they damaged (dented and scratched) that as well and even managed to split the spoiler! So figures crossed I should have a bit of compensation coming my way
So anyway, with regards to the boot. I'm gonna use my original red one, but where the paint needs sorting on the top, I'm actually gonna spray the top black and have my original red spoiler sprayed black to to hide the join
The eventual plan is to do the roof in the same black (I think) and have a matching colour bonnet until I can afford a carbon fibre OEM style one
So yeah... That's a heads up for now

I see what you mean with the colour scheme too, funnily enough i was going to suggest spraying the back of it red and leaving the top black, but as i read down i realised you were going to do the opposite with the red one lol
I bet you're scared now, you think the same way as a grumpy-old-fart-in-training like me lol

That's the last thing I expected from that car. The car the guy was breaking was Angelus' old car.
Funnily enough where I got my Mugen side skirts from - so it had a few goodies on it from Mugen then. If anyone is after some very nice bumpers he's selling a Wings west big mouth front bumper and a modified rear with number plate recess - but it also has the rare Canam/Mugen commissioned rear spats.
Odd though, I didn't think of asking for pics of engine bits as his is an F22, I guess there's no difference in the fitment then?
Very well done though bud, ever get bored of it you know where I am.![]()

I didn't realise it was from Angelus's old lude, but yeah, I'm suprised it wasn't ever something he boosted about

Oh well (shrugs and raises eyebrows)

Just a shame I'm running out of money again to score more bargains. It's almost ironic

(LB) Boot Lining Replaced. Replacement front Wings. AirCon R
Been up to some more monkey business this weekend.
First of all, I finally got around to modifying my boot interior so as it'll fit back in since I relocated my battery and fitted the rear strut brace. It's a good fit to
...

Then saturday, I popped up to Weston-Super-Mare to pick up some more recent winnings from ebay...

It cost me more to drive up and back than it did for the wings, being one was a tenner and the other was a mere 99p
Anyway, the purpose was to erradicate this problem...

The current OS wing was mis-shapen. The current NS wing had a tad amount of rust under the arch lip, so I thought best swap both being they weren't a colour match as well. It'd be daft to just have one odd colour wing!
So saturday evening arrived and my main goal for the weekend was to remove the aircon.
So I started with this...

But with a click of the fingers... Voila!!!...

I didn't take any pictures of the Air-Con removal process, as for one it's pretty straight forward, and two you really don't wanna be seeing them
Anyway, I ended up removing all this lot
...

In order to remove the AC pump tho, I had to remove the alternater and the Power-Steering pump. So, I did my usual thing whilst they were out, and gave them and their brackets all a good old clean
Put them back, and they look
splended
...

Oh!... I also gave the block a bit of a clean where I could see to
...

I also hoovered all the crap from the radiator...

But I think it may soon be time to get a new radiator
...

So with the Air-con all removed from beneath the bonnet it's all looking a little less conjested
...

Especially here...

It's just a shame I want to keep the Power-Steering as well really
So, new wings back on, and she's looking good
(Pictures taken the next day
)...

Engine bay looks better in daylight as well
...

Now, all I need now is for my heat wrap to arrive next week, and I can install the old a... Mugen manifold and downpipe
