Good job on the air con removal too. Interesting what other minor issues/potential problems (rad) are found when getting the bumper off thoughSo what's the plan with the numerous body panel colours?! Full respray or just matching the wings and boot/spoiler in with the rest?
Would love to see your lude at some point mate. I think we will have to organise another SW meet soon.
Btw, is that front H badge just a black sticker or have you sprayed the original badges?

The intention all along from when I got the car was to get a complete respray... But being able to afford that is a long way off. But it's funny you should ask, as I've literally just being tinkering on photoshop with what she's going to look like soon, and although patchy... She's not gonna look that bad
Hopefully tomorrow I shall be picking up my newly refurbished OZ alloys
Then next month I shall be travelling down to Plymouth to visit my uncle and his tyre company
And fingers crossed, whilst I'm down there, I'll be popping in on Daiz and doing a bonnet swap for a non-buckled one
The bonnet Daiz has is phantom grey as are the wing mirrors I have (though they need to be resprayed) and I'm gonna spray the top portion of my original milano red boot and the spoiler phantom grey also.
So... She's gonna end up looking like this soon.....

And to be honest, I don't mind it
The front "H" badge is a vinyl decal by the way

Not sure what else Daiz has lying about still. I am guessing he has sold the LSD box now but he is still selling his 3rd gen right? Pity I never got to see it or his old 4th gen

Done some more tinkering?
Here's the current setup before the wing mirrors and alloys go on...

Here's the mods with Milano Red bonnet...

Here's the mods with Phantom Grey Bonnet...

And here's the mods with future Red Weave Carbon Fibre bonnet
...

Can you guys give your opinion as to what you think looks better? I've looked and toyed between them way too much now... it's starting to look like a ladybird
I had thought Milano Red looked best before I started rocking

Re: PLEASE DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD YET (Under Constructio
Finally got around to tidying up the battery cables from my battery relocation yesterday
(So I can now put up a complete "How-To" together
)
It went from looking like this
...

To this
...

Just need to get some Krust and paint on that cross member now
That must be just rust damage caused by having the battery located where it was... The other side is in "as new" condition!
Anyway, I managed to remove all this lot
...

I also affixed a small breather filter to the Valve cover and did away with a bit more pipe work

Hopefully I'll have time over the weekend to get some Mugeny goodness fitted for some more photo shots

Cheers Crazy
The rims are gonna be matt black. I'm not overly keen on glossy black rims (that sounds wrong
)
The boot and wing mirrors that I'm in the middle of spraying at the moment are gonna now be a Honda Pearlescent black though
They didn't have Phantom grey on the shelf, but they did have this... And it's much cheaper than getting it mixed
