Here's the latest update to my poor lil baby...

She has no compression in cylinder 3 :( So her head's coming off tomorrow to inspect the damage :?

That's all for now... I'd appreciate all you're wishes before bedtime if you can  (Good ones please  )

Appreciate that mate :D It's alright though, she's in good hands at the moment, and surrounded by 2 Jaguar E-Types, An Aston Martin DB6 and DBS6, 2 original minis, 2 early 1920ish cars (I have no clue what lol) and a potentially awesome looking hot rod (from what I can't remember) 8)

Cheers dude. Just picked up a replacement head from Honda (from an Accord). I know the guy it belonged to. Apparently it's only done 51,000 miles, and looks pretty clean.

Turns out I have 6 bent valves... All exhaust :? Two of which were severely bent

(LB) New Head Fitted

Post by NafemanNathan » Tue Feb 07, 2012 9:18 am

Apparently... SHE'S ALIVE!!! \:D/ :D :P =D> [-o<

And "sounding gooooood" to

I should be able to pick her up tonight. After 2 weeks of swapping between a 1.2 Clio, a 1.2 Corsa, a 1.4 206 and a 1.4 Ibiza I absolutely cannot wait!

With a new low mileage head, new head gasket set, new water pump, new belts, timing belt tensioner conversion, new engine oil and new antifreeze, it's just like she's been away on a spa holiday for 2 weeks
