If they don't know and can't see that it's been removed (provided they haven't done their research) then it's not a problem. When you loop the lines, they are covered up again by the protective shield and can't be seen without removing it again. Provided you remove all other evidence (ie. the pump and pipes) then the tester would have no reason to suspect this specific model originally had PAS and therefore isn't a fail ;-)

Would that be only applicable to BB4's as they are not on the MOT testers database?

Not really a problem for me and MOT's. Not just PAS, all the ABS, EGR, Carbon Cannister system, etc is all in the same boat.

It's who you know. Like you say I could take it somewhere else and say it was like that standard, even blag it's a JDM to a point. But like I said, not a problem. :wink:
