I'm thinking about getting the wheels refurbished in a white or silver colour as I've never been a fan of black wheels on a black car. I had black Rota slipstreams on my other 5th gen and swapped them for oem saw blades which I thought looked better.

The other option is to fit the original 16 inch Type S wheels which Sam let me have when I bought it, but they seem to sit a bit inside the arches too much.

The car looks great... What about a bronze colour..?
I would agree the 16's would be small... And the car would sit very low as a daily...

Bronze only looks good on after market wheels.

Having a black car it gives you the option to go any colour on the wheels.
Depends on the kind of statement you want to make. White would cause a lot of grief with brake dust I would think.
I do like the look of black on black. It makes the car look very mean and aggressive.
Maybe a gunmetal grey?

White wheels do look nice on Black car but like Prahunt says they do get dirty often/easily.. :?

At least you know it's gone to someone who's loving it as it deserves :)

White wheels are fine. Black shows brake dust more imo. Just goes dull.

White remains white just dirtier.

Thanks for the comments - I did a quick mess around in Photoshop and I reckon this could look OK, a bright silver finish?
