pics don't do it justice, Its actually pretty tight, the Ultraracing strutbar is the lowest point.
I will fabricate a front splitter that will also protect the downpipe.
(will heatwrap the downpipe and use aviation grade highspeed tape or aluminium plate to protect the splitter)

fitted hood dampers.. makes life alot easier.
Know all the stories and I take good care opening and closing the bonnet.
Not sure about the hood spacers now, they make it a bit wobbly.

That looks amazing! Really mean as you say.

Thanks for the detailed pics on how you lined up and cut the bonnet, got the same catches to do on my new carbon bonnet - I'm scared! :?

So the bonnet lifters are livable with a c/f bonnet as long as your careful opening and closing? I don't have alot of options for a hood stand otherwise? Also you lost your OEM bonnet latch right? Looking at binning mine too.

Final Q - you Time Attacking yours? :o

You seen the traction bar pics yet i posted fot ya?

Ive got alot more pictures for the aerocatch install.
And some usefull tips.
Planning on making an HOW TO if I find the time. Just send me a PM if I'll forget ok!
best tip.. think and measure three times before you cut.. Got a load more do's and don'ts. So glad I took the time to do it as its all perfect! ( and BTW get the right tools.. that has helped me alot)

Hooddampers.. still a bit scared when I close the bonnet , the innitial closing movement puts a lot of strain on the hood.
Bus as you said, not much options.. maybe i'll remove 1 when its done..

Last but not least.. YES ofcourse I'm gonne TIME ATTACK the SH#t out of this thing! Thats what its build for

I'm Dutch so won't participate in the UK TA.
Our Time attack works different, A bit lame but you have to stay in a certain time frame.
Lets say the SEMI-PRO-STREET you can't do a lap time under 2:10 on the track in Zandfoort.
If you do, you are disquallified and have to re-enter the class above with more strickt technical rules and If it happens half way the season you will go from the quickest to the slowest.
Final race of the season last sunday in zandfoort a guy running up to 2nd place in the Semi pro street ran a 2:09.778 and got disqualified losing his podium place :geek:

Its just for fun and If I get the chance I will visit the UK.
But with my job getting the weekends off to participate in the Dutch TA will be hard enough..

And Merlin,I'm honored but you haven't seen half of it yet, I would wait till my interior if done and the car is running!
A video of the car running will blow everyone away I hope :scaredtoss:

Thanx alot for all the comments..
