Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

nice prelude !
i wouldn't recomend 4ws for track use myself, makes the back end feel like its guna step out all the time, and when it does it makes things worse in gettin it back in line but obviously thats my opiniun. i have heard of people running 4ws on track and loving it so i guess its down to personal preference.

just wondering if you managed to find any piping? i want to do the same with mine but havn't found anything suitable yet. i remember seeing that somone had used some CF piping which is what i'd idealy like to use but again can't find anyNathan wrote:Also I was looking to get some 85mm+- chrome ducting (like from the ebay jobs) that I could custom shape (with silocone joiners) Then heat wrap the lot. Just so I'd have a better airflow. Gonna go post a few things in the "wanted" section now![]()

I was pointed in the direction of these guys... Apiro Autostyle.
I've not checked them out yet mind. Let me know how you get on if you do. And definitely let me know if you find any cf ducting on your travels. I kind of crossed off the possibility of finding any cf straight away, but I guess someone must already make the stuff

Nah, not done the dials yet Marc. I've taken them apart and cleaned them up (removed the crappy paper mph dial someone else had stuck in there to lol) so they're ready to go, but I was gonna wait til I have a convertor chip as well
I got a chip in the windscreen fixed over the christmas break (a free insurance job) so I asked about the trim around the windscreen. He said there wasn't anything they could do unless they were replacing the whole screen (which it turns out has already been replaced) the windscreen is blue glass whereas all the other glass is green. Anyway, yesterday on my return from work, my car obviously heated up a little too quick (It does tend to) and what with it being so cold out, the windscreen just cracked!
... So now I'm getting a replacement green glass windscreen a brand new surrounding trim as well
£65 excess but hey!
I had a set of standard rear lenses arrive yesterday that I'm gonna de-tango and I've already wired the rear fog light up into the OS reverse light. Tho the red bulb I ordered from ebay unsuprisingly turned up smashed to smithereens in the crappy jiffy bag it had simply been bundled into. [-(
Then I've still got my Tein Super Streets to arrive
and I've also just paid the customs fees for the Megan Racing braces I ordered just before christmas
I'm addicted to spending money on her, but I must resist
