Jackson Racing Supercharger Rework
So finally let see how this jrsc can be improved.
The old setup. Stock jrsc.

Stock intake manifold

Stock eaton m62 outlet

Stock jrsc inlet

Merc racing modular inlet from the Acura rsx vs the stock jrsc s tube.

First off all it needs cutting down.

Mated up to the jrsc plate you can see the by pass valve does not line up.

Cut the by pass valve down and then turned it slightly to are where I need to make and weld new holes.

All welded up and tapped.

The little ledgee on the front here gets in the way of changing the fuel rail and is the place for the jrsc iacv and throttle cable ledge. Since in I'm not using that I'll get rid.

Re: Ratty's Type S....245/40/17s fit
The merc racing inlet is 74mm compared to the jrsc 643mm. So I'm mating it to a skunk2 Pro 743mm throttle body.
Next up was sending the supercharger to powerhouse automotive to get a service and new bearings then I ported the charger and got a welder top carefully weld up the silencer holes. This increases boost a tad bit adds more noise.

Ported the whole thing and welded up holes and shaved off the ledge.

New throttle cable bracket made.

The I grinded the crap out of the intake manifold and charger plate.

Ported the front too. Removed all casing marks.

Re: Ratty's Type S....245/40/17s fit
Continued further.
As part of 3 group buys on prelude power I got one missing part machined by rosko racing.
A motivation motorsport 9psi Jack shaft pulley and done new aluminum idler pulleys.
Missing support idler bracket

New idlers and bearings

To replace these.

Unfortunately no pictures of the New idlers in place. I have also added an extra idler to reduce belt slip.
A finally an f23 accord crank puller. Bigger than the prelude to spin the charger faster adding roughly 3 more psi

The car is currently at Performance Autoworks getting the engine forged.
It will be there for at least a month.

Re: Ratty's Type S....245/40/17s fit
I told rich to try 12psi which is about the limit of the eaton m62 supercharger at roughly 16000rpm. Any faster and it starts negatively producing too much heat. I do also have a focus svt smaller charger pulley to go for 15psi but that will be too muchso I'm leaving that.
Yes fully forged.
Darton dry sleeves placed in the frm sleeves
Skimmed head
Supertech valve springs on type s cams/head
10:1 cp pistons
Eagle Rods or skunk2 alpha rods, I can't remember
Balancer shaft delete
Hondata s300
See how water/meth injection goes from the aquamist hfs3 system.
So the full hog.
