Finally got round to changing out the centre section of my exhaust which had given up the ghost a couple of months ago. It came apart and went back together smoothly except i had to drill out the solid fab decat pipe holes to 10mm. Its nice to have the a fully working oem system once again and even managed to fit the heatshields back on. 8-)

The old centre section was goosed - quite a few horse power escaped along with exhaust gases

New centre section was a great fit

Oem back box back on with new gasket - funny how massive the oem back box is

Tailpipe finishers are looking a bit knackered - need to get a new set

Also thanks to Alistair(Merlin) who helped me again with trying to fix my brakes - we took at look at the work the garage had done - theyd fitted two rear calipers for me - wasnt pleased to find that there was a side shim missing on each side and one slider had a split boot and a wrong boot - result was inner rear pads were binding casuing brake fade. Just need to fit parts when i get em and that should be that sorted - finally!
Just shows you - if you want a job done properly do it yourself (or take it to paw)

yeah theyre not too shabby - they will be 20 years old next year - as theyre stamped as manufactured in 1993.
just shows that it always worth paying for quality parts. one of them has developed a small leak - fixing that will be one of my winter refurb projects. :x
