Although with flared arches and fatter wheels it could be pulled off... hard to tell IMO. Depends on the wheel! ;)

I wondered how long before YOU posted that up

They'd be 9J on the back and 8J on the fronts with arches to suit, so it wouldn't look like it had just hoiked up it's trouser legs and straddled around a puddle ;-)

I've seen some of my favourite rims that would cause this much offset on the rears and a good amount on the front as well. It's a lot of additional arch work than initially intended, but I love what it could look like. Only thing I'm thinking is that the rear (especially) needs to be lower, but I can't afford to (speedbump wise), so the other option would be to run a slightly larger tyre on the back :scaredtoss:
lower it 8-) just a tad though ;)

Can't. I had to sort part of my sunken drive yesterday just to get it back up without scraping. If I go any lower it will be lower than the Aerodeck was and that was touch and go (literally) at times as it was.

Awww crap he's accepted my unofficial sensible offer for the rims! What do I do?!!! :scaredtoss:

EDIT: For the record, it's these...

Image

Weller Wheels in a very rare 15x9J et0 & 15x8J et12 4x100 fitment.

I'd be painting them matte black.

i didn' think the guy would except my offer, and that was the only way I was going to easily rule them out

EDIT 2: Scrap that, not going to go for them. The other rims I had my eye on are wide enough, but don't require as much arch work. Thanks for your time folks.
