I got side tracked from the exhaust atm and started on the rear brakes.

I've been tinkering with these in my spare time at work and finally got a test item but I have a problem, firstly it was a good excuse to fit the 5 stud hub and started with the passenger side only to find the bearings is drokked.

And now my biggest problem, the bloody split rims won't cover the brakes and I've found I can swap them to the front as they don't clear those brakes either lol

Only solution is to sell them and get my matching 9j wide supra wheels fitted. I'll send them to be bored out tomorrow, I found some matching 888's for £50 delivered on eBay. There's not much tread left but enough to trial everything and kill them on track.

Here's a few pics

I've used 10mm thick 6082 ally and toyota avensis disc, once I've tested these ill be looking into making a few sets :)

To match the front I've got a set or hispec monster 4 pots, they did belong to paw then dino and then rob who hoarded them for awhile ;-)

They've now been rebuilt and machined from 325mm to 310 with new floating disc as the old ones were well past there best.

Just a tiny bit of machine work on the brackets and helicoil the threads then refit with all new bolts.

Next plan is to find some more 16x9 supra alloys, I trial fitted them from the rear to front and they fit nicely, may lose some steering lock tho.

245/45/16 r888's all round coming soon :)

Think I'll be cutting out the old one and fit the biggest jetex one I can buy, that and removing that 4 3/4" cannon on the back box should help.

I'm not sure if I'll fit the itb engine over Xmas, tough decisions hehe
