I went for the light weight spec to start with so there was less to strip out... no sunroof either a bit of faffing and deciding on routing the cable. I'd say if I got to do it again without stopping I could probably manage it in 3 hours easy. I'd say for you being pretty hands on and if you happened to follow my instructions it would take you no time at all And with my free weekend next weekend, I should get chance to swap my whole front end over nucleustylz lude wrote:Blimey, takes longer than I would have imagined then. It's finding out things you didn't know that makes it take longer... Or should I say not knowing them like you said. It was attempting to thread the cable that took the longest time I'd say. It got quite fiddly at times with the carpet and all, and I had to discover where to thread it as well.
