I'm happy with it :)

I've also got some dark grey heat wrap that I bought ages ago to wrap the silicone parts of the air feed, which should make it look better still and also reduce air temps even more ;-)

That looks awesome mate - turned out amazing!

Good point though Phil - that'll be interesting to get the most out of that with tuning - those large fans they use will struggle to immitate the air feed that'll will acheive at some speeds.

But hey, it's frickin sweet - I want one!

It will be when I've finished with it. I plan on removing the lower headlight fixings and possibly a small amount of the slam panel to enable me to slip and slide it out with relative ease.

With regards to how much crap will fly up there... A lot lol. That's why I thought I'd try my luck and asked for a random O/S headlight protector a few weeks ago. I was going to modify it to become a "mesh" that I can clip on and off depending on the weather/route. Think I'll just have to make one from scratch instead.

I've seen it run B-series Civics running ITBs in ram-air boxes, so I'm sure it can cope. The engine will still only draw in as much air as it can cope with, as although I'm hoping for a bit more pressure it's still not forced induction... It's just more readily available air ;-) If not I'll jump that hurdle when we get there
