hiding crap from the missus, more carbon and a Guinea pig!
2 updates in 2 days!
here's one of my Guinea pigs,

worst, mechanic, ever!
and the hoard of parts
type s rear UCA's (note the reinforcement plates)

Type S front hubs with the double ball joints (its supposed to improve handling alot)

the front subframe and LCA's are of at the powder coaters, although i may use the 4th gen lower arms as the type s ones are longer and can bugger up the camber)
new 320mmx32mm front discs and 305mm rears

repaired HIRO front lip (this was in a really bad way)

In progress or being repair sides

Carbon spoiler (bought from mills(the super seller)) not sure if i will use it, i bought it just incase i do!

Carbon Boot

thats it for a few minutes!
no real progress, just trying to work alot of things out ATM and how it will all fit together

now for the thing i have been hiding, in plain sight, from the evil other half
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ROLL CAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who needs bolts?

This was, many moons ago, Performance autoworks's cage, it was then sold to jon e, then i-tuned, now its mine
just need a harness bar (hopefully tramroad will be making this) and fitting (again i would like it to be tramroad but getting the maroon heap there is going to be a PITA )
and yes i know my garage is a mess

I love head!
finally, a little engine stuff!
i wanted PA to do my head work, i had the cash, then the bloody roll cage came up!
i had a PNP'd head kicking around in the garage already (as you do) with supertech valve springs, retainers and flat faced valves (again as you do) the head wasnt a known quantity so i took it of to get refaced as it had a little damage on the face, turns out it had been skimmed before on the body lemonade, but now its flat! its had a fair bit of material taken off so i will have to check valve clearances, if they are goo then i should be getting some very strong compression
pics, everyone loves pictures

all this and a set of crower stage 3 n/a cams
thats it for today folks!
cheers
phil
