Re: Nathan's Road-Legal/Track/Show BB4
Nope, no progress as usual
Kind of getting me down a bit that I just can't find the time at the moment. There's always something else it seems, and then there's no light in the evenings now either.
The payment deadline for the groupbuy for the traction bars and engine mounts is 1st November, so hopefully we should be receiving them mid November. Hoping to get my new rad as well then, so as soon as I have those bits I'll get them all fitted, then I can fit my oil cooler and oil filter relocator and then I'll get the fuel filter and regulator fitted to the bulkhead, so I can measure up for all the braided hoses and AN- fittings.
Now I have my new Dremel as well, I can finish off fine tuning my ATR manifold with ease and then send that and a few other bits off for powder-coating.
See I've got a plan... Always got a plan... It's just putting it all into action

Haha know the feeling!
Funny how you have to put so many things on hold because your waiting for parts or even tools!
But once you get them in you'll be flying again!
Look at me, been test fitting things for ages and suddenly after a few small parts came in finished up loads! I really try to plan a few hours or one day a week..
Best thing, take your time! Its a hobby and it should give joy not stress! You will get it done one day!
Keep us posted!
Ps be carefull with the dremel, the small grinder wheels can shatter so alway wear safety goggles!! I always do but got hit in the forehead once! Trust me, you'll lose an eye!!

Re: Nathan's Road-Legal/Track/Show BB4
Thanks for the warning
The thing that's slowing it up the most is not having somewhere indoors to work. Otherwise I would have had all the suspension arms off by now, powder-coated and all the ES bushes fitted as well. The worst thing about all this is, even when I have got everything together or ready for fitting, I'm still nedding to save thousands to pay Rich at PAW to make it all work and get the most out of it

More Trick Bits
Yet again, no progress, but more accumilation of parts
First of all my new steering wheel horn button sticker courtesy of Sam (horny-hardy). Cheers again bud. Perfect fit
...

Then as part of the same assembly, B&G 60mm wheel spacer...

And that assembly with the NRG short boss...

Then a recent ebay bargain. I didn't even need these as I already have my Skunk2 ones, but these are so much prettier
...

Then something a little more sensible. I managed to pick up a set of door window lower external seals as my existing ones are all cracked up along the tops...

Sadly one of them got bent and dented in transit, but the bend bent back out and the dent will easily push out as well when I get around to it...

I had the pleasure of meeting Dan (W1ggz) today who had kindly picked up the PAW Baffled Sump and Skunk2 VTEC Solenoid Cover I'd bought from Marc (Dino) when he'd picked some stuff up for himself. Thanks again Dan, great to have met you finally
PAW Baffled Sump...

Skunk2 VTEC Solenoid Cover...

And then just before Dan turned up I had a visit from my good friend and bum chum Phil (4thgenphil) and his current sidekick Pete (106pete) who delivered these bad boys...

For those that can't tell due to the fact my shed looks like this...

... and I can't get in there to take a decent picture, they are ValueSports Type 2 skirts, and looked like this on Phil's car...

They have a very small amount of damage, but this is the worst of it and that will be easy to fix...

I still not 100% sure they'll go on the Project lude as I also have my Wings West ones which tie up with the WW front lip, but these VS Type 2's will also work well with that (Possibly better) and then also tie in nicely with my VS Type 2 Spoiler to
And then likewise with either skirts on my Daily lude and the Azect front lip and rear spats.
... Decisions
Cheers!
