NRG do do them. I was looking at getting either the gen 2.5 or the gen 3.0...

But my NRG is just a short hub there.

Editted for a better pic ;-)

Not that bad at £87 for the Gen 2.5 on ebay really, compared to Lifeline at £180. But still more than I wanted to spend when I'm saving for other things ;-)

Cheers Scott. I think you've quoted me for one already actually

I'll leave it for now as my car's not going anywhere, but may be in contact in when she's rolling again ;-)

Some Fibre Glass Extensions

Post by NafemanNathan » Wed Nov 14, 2012 9:52 pm

Thought I'd do something a little daring... Or at least take the first step towards doing something a little daring...

The idea is to cut my arches out, so I can go wider and lower on all four corners. Partly for cornering, partly because I think it might be the easiest way to get my Brembos to fit, but also because I'm hoping it should look the tits!

I've never seen a 4th gen with any fitted (and I've done a lot of searching), but I offered them up to the Daily lude just now (As it's easier to see in the darkness), and they look like they should look frikin mental! 8) (I realise this isn't going to be to everyone's taste, much like Phil's speedholes  ). Lucky, but they look like the perfect fit. I took a guess and a gamble that they'd fit as the were going cheap on ebay as well :D

In other news, the county council are meeting this Monday coming to discuss my resubmission for the house extension and the triple garage & workshop :scaredtoss: Fingers crossed I can get the go-ahead this time, in which case the extension should hopefully go up straight away along with the foundations for the garage (I'll probably do the foundations for the garage myself.), and then I have my eye on a nearby 20' x 12' timber garage in mint condition that I've already been to look at, and the guy's planning to want rid of in the new year. It'll obviously just be a temporary garage until I can afford to build the real one, but it means I can then properly crack on with this build ;-)
