Ok, so I have now moved house, and the move went reasonably well.
I had to move the car a few days after we actually moved house, so it sat nervously in the old garage for a few days without anyone keeping an eye on it, I was a bit worried, but fortunately when I drove back up to the north, everything was ok.
I met the guy who was transporting it and he rocked up with his machine, 2 hours later than planned, which was a boring wait in the car. We loaded it onto the trailer and all was well. I was expecting just to follow him down but he said he had to go back to their depot first to change driver.
Loading up.
The plastic screen was because I had no power to wind the window up.
So worryingly I left him to it and drove to the new place and waited for the car to arrive. 2 hours of curtain twitching later it finally arrived and we unloaded it and pushed it into its new home.
The new workspace is not as big as I remember when I first viewed the property, it nice and long, but not really as wide as I would have liked, guess I’ll just have to make do, but it will be nice to have a segregated working area.
The new space:
Monster vice already there ready to use.
A bit of sorting to do.
Tools now organised:
Prelude sat comfortably:
Whilst clearing the kitchen for the move, I found some stuff that I had bought earlier but had completely forgotten about.
Replacement window mouldings (thanks JDM BB4)
Bonnet spoiler (thanks mercutio)
Cooling plate (thanks Bri)
Lightened flywheel (ebay?)
Spare switches, just a few.
Spare fuse box.
I also found new clutch master and slave cylinders. Yes, I am an ebay addict.
On another note, the wife is really pleased with the new place (yay me), its bigger than the last place and in a really nice quiet village, after living in a city for pretty much my entire life, the quiet is going to take some getting used to.
Cheers.
